I had promised long ago to send you pictures of our Walipini when it was done. I am finally getting to that (see attached). It took me a little while to get it built, but the panels held up well in the meantime. I took the pictures late in the fall, but kept forgetting to email.
It is an insulated semi-underground structure and still growing food now in the middle of winter. I would be happy to send higher-resolution pics if you like. I think that it is a good example of what you can do with your windows.
Thank you again for your help with sorting out the shipping damage issues. Everything went on well and it survived the hurricane last fall without any hiccups. It actually felt calm in the greenhouse even though it was going crazy outside. You will see that I added a few extra screws in the middle of each panel right before the storm just to be sure. I also used longer screws, but the bubble seals worked well (round rubber seals). I also ended up flipping around the end U channel as it worked better that way when I prototyped the connections. It remained straighter after hammering in the cover.

We feel they will give us an added layer of protection against damage from the strong winter gales. This is the finished room. I decided to do it myself. I followed the instructions and everything worked out well. We had 23 family here for Thanksgiving and they all wanted to be in the room at the same time.! Thanks. I am very happy with my purchase. Owen Gagetown. NB

Hi Diane – just a quick note to let you know that my greenhouse is fabulous! I put it together in 2 1/2 days (in the rain). We built an 8’x8′ base for it. As per your advice – I did use a substantial amount of dish soap – made fitting the pieces possible. I can’t imagine trying to put it together without plenty of soap. The automatic roof window opener is great. I was wondering how it would work, but once the sun came out today it worked perfectly. Thanks again for all your help. Linda (Calgary, Alberta)
